Books & Blessings
Signing and gifting books
to our youth.
Books & Blessings happens when a church or youth group hosts a book signing for their own young people. They choose the title and buy the copies; I sign each one and pray over the young person receiving it.
It began at Canaan Gujarati Church in Staten Island, where the series was launched during Sunday worship, and it has been carried since by the people who lead young readers — pastors, youth leaders, parents.
May they keep the faith and hold the anchor.

The Anchor Series was launched during the Sunday worship service. Five readers inaugurated the five books, one each:
- Anchor Point — Pastor Percy Macwan
- Anchor Life — Nevil Parmar
- Anchor Beyond — Rebecca Macwan
- Anchor Deep — Elizabeth Parmar, daughter of Rimmy & Donald Parmar
- Anchor Start — Eliana Reginald Ruben, daughter of the Reginald Ruben family

A Youth Book Giveaway at the church picnic — and the books were not mine to give. Mrs. Barb Lombardo and Mrs. Joyce Bigley, who lead the youth group there, bought copies for their own students. I came to sign them and hand them over. Morrisville is the church I came up in as a member, so it was a good place to be asked back to.
My thanks to Pastor Raphael, and to Mrs. Lombardo and Mrs. Bigley, for the warm invitation and for the way they look after those young people.

Bring it to your church
Morrisville is the simplest version, and it travels. The leaders choose a title and buy the copies for their group, and the signing happens at whatever you already have on.
One
Pick the title
Anchor Start for middle schoolers, Anchor Deep for high school, Anchor Beyond for college. Two questions will tell you if you are not sure.

Order for the group
Ten copies or more of one title is $12 each with shipping included. See group pricing.
Three
Signing and prayer
A picnic, a service, a youth night — whatever you already have on. Each copy is signed and handed over with a prayer for the young person receiving it.
I take a limited number of these each year, and there is no fee for the visit. A short request — book, quantity, who it’s for, and where to send it. Nothing is charged until we’ve spoken.
